DeleteHis ability to mimic Will Eisner was amazing. I first saw his work in Creepy Magazine. When I then saw his earlier work, including the great war comics he did for DC, I could hardly believe they were by the same artist.
ReplyDeleteGrandenetti's Warren art was very different from these Dr. Drew stories. I like both.

I believe Grandenetti was an assistant on the Spirit and Eisner instructed Grandenetti to draw these Dr Drew tales in the "Eisner" style.
